1) What is this product made of?

It is a 20% solid thermal plastic acrylic.

2) How much does it do?

Approximately 800 square feet per 1 litre bottle.  We recommend that you apply 2 coats of Lamanator Plus Restoration, therefore, one bottle of Restore will cover approximately 400 square feet.

3) What does the product do?

It helps hide scuffs, scratches and stops tracking.  It also helps seal (coat) the joints and helps prevent peaking.

4) How much does it cost ?

Lamanator Plus Deep scrub retails for $26.60.  Lamanator Plus Restoration retails for $35.30. Lamanator Plus Buff dry Cleaner and Revitalizer retails for $24.90.  Prices do not include GST. 

5) How do you apply it?

It is very easy to apply.  Use the sprayer provided on the bottle to mist spray onto the floor.  If you require Laminate Deep Scrub to strip your floor of oils, waxes or previous coatings of other products people may have applied, use a mildly abrasive scrub pad to remove.  For Laminate Restoration and Laminate Buff Dry and Cleaner, we recommend that you use a microfibre mop applicator.  This helps to spread the product more evenly.  We supply this mop head as well.

6) Does it remove scratches or scuffs?

It doesn't remove them, but it helps hide them.

7) Can this product really seal the joints?

It does not seal the joints, but it coats the edge of the joints to help prevent water from seeping in.

8) Should you put it on a newly laid floor?

We recommend that you do because it coats the joints, which helps prevents water from seeping in and causing the joints to peak.  It also makes cleaning easier and brightens up the colors in the wood.

9) How long does it last?

We have had it on our showroom floor for over 1 year now and this is a high traffic area.  The Restore has not yet touched the surface of the laminate.  This would indicate a minimum 12 month product life, depending on the amount of traffic to the area.  It could very well be longer before another application is needed.

10) What do you do to re-apply it?

Simply clean the floor and re-apply Laminate Restoration.

11) Can you use it on hardwood or other types of floors?

Yes, the restore and buff cleaner products can also be used on pre-finished hardwood.  The Deep Scrub stripper can be used on other floors to remove unwanted substances or to remove the Laminate Restore product if desired. 

12) How can you remove it?

To remove this product, use Laminate Deep Scrub and a mild abrasive scrub pad.

13) What do you get when you purchase the Lamanator Plus System?

You only purchase what you need.  If you need to strip your floor, you get Laminate Deep Scrub.  To clean your floor, you get Laminate Buff Dry Cleaner and Revitalizer.  To restore and coat your floor, you get Laminate Restore.

14) Do you have to buy it in a kit?

No, you can buy the 1 Litre bottles separately.
